CONSTRUCTION SAFETY ORIENTATION COURSE FOR WORKERS (RECERTIFICATION)

Course Objectives

This programme is designed to help you renew your Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) safety pass. Successful completion will extend your safety pass validity for either 2 years or 4 years, depending on your work experience:

• 2 years: If you have less than 6 years of work experience in Singapore.
• 4 years: If you have 6 years or more of work experience in Singapore.

Who Can Attend?

To be eligible for this programme, you must already have a valid Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) or Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites (AWCS) safety pass.

The renewal process includes:

Assessments

To renew your safety pass, you’ll need to complete:

1. Written Assessment:
   • Duration: 1 hour
   • Format: 40 multiple-choice questions (MCQs)
   • Passing Criteria: 60%
2. Practical Assessment:
   • Duration: 3 hours
   • Grading: Based on a Competent/Not Yet Competent evaluation.
